This Bulldog comes from our home in East Palatka, Florida.
Terms
Payment in full must be made prior to the buyer taking ownership of the dog. Payment in cash, money order or certified bank check only. No personal checks. The Seller will not ship the puppy. The buyer must pick up puppy. All travel arrangements are the Buyer's responsibility. The buyer also agrees that the puppy will carry the name Moccasin Run or Moccasin Run's in the first part of the registered name. Buyer is required to provide to the seller copies of this puppy's show win photographs and official standings. Additionally: Must e-mail growth and development of above Bulldog for entire life span.
Health Guarantee:
The seller certifies that, upon receipt, the dog is in good health and has been immunized and dewormed according to the accompanying health record of said Bulldog. The buyer agrees to have the dog examined by the buyer's veterinarian at the buyer's expense within 72 hours from date of purchase. If the veterinarian does not give the dog a clean bill of health and states so in writing (presenting evidence of findings), buyer must notify the seller immediately. Seller reserves the right to have the dog re-examined by the seller's veterinarian at seller's cost. Seller does not accept responsibility for contagious disease diagnosed after 3 days from date of purchase.
Seller guarantees this dog to be free of serious, life-threatening genetic conditions, i.e. heart murmur, severe hip and elbow dysphasia, and pathological spinal disorder. If any such condition is found, within 6 months of purchase date, and documented in writing by a licensed veterinarian and substantiated by lab tests and/or x-rays, the puppy may be returned to the seller for a full refund of the purchase price or credit toward another puppy (seller's choice). Minor, breed related, treatable or correctable conditions, or any condition which could go away, or is considered to be a condition that a puppy will likely grow out of are not covered in this guarantee. If the dog is found not to be in good health, the Seller will resume possession. The Buyer is responsible for any Veterinarian costs prior to the return, and the buyer is responsible for all costs to return the puppy to the seller. All costs to return the dog and receive a replacement are at the buyer's expense. The Buyer agrees that at no time will the puppy be shipped. Although a concentrated effort is made by the seller to breed sound, healthy puppies, buyer should understand that, due to the nature of the breed, Bulldogs are predisposed to certain medical conditions and abnormalities, and that a normal Bulldog may have one or more of these conditions during its lifetime, The buyer is strongly urged to research the breed and be familiar with all the health issues that could affect their Bulldog before entering into this or any agreement to purchase a Bulldog.
Buyer agrees to provide good care and a loving environment for this dog and is aware that a Bulldog can overheat quickly and may easily die as a result. Therefore, buyer agrees to house this dog indoors, not in outdoor kennels, cages, pens, tie outs or dog houses where this dog will be exposed to the heat or elements. Heat stroke, exhaustion, dehydration and other heat related conditions are not covered in any way by this guarantee. He/She must be an indoor dog.
The Buyer's Responsibility:
The Buyer agrees to take good care of this dog, maintain yearly shots, monthly heart worm preventions, and general dewormings. The buyer will control the dog on a harness or leash when in public and when off the premises of the dog's home. The dog's outdoor area will be fenced in and secure or acceptable provisions will be made to assure the dog is safe any time he/she is outdoors. Buyer agrees to give the dog proper physical and emotional care and welfare. The buyer must agree to house the dog in the family home as its primary housing and the dog will be treated as a family pet. If the dog is found to be allowed to run freely, running at large, creating a public nuisance, or found to be in neglected, abused or allowed to live in poor health or poor conditions the Seller has all rights to repossession of this dog with no refund to the buyer. The death, injury or loss of said dog due to theft, carelessness, recklessness, abuse, neglect, heat stroke, or accident will not entitle the buyer to any compensation from the seller.
This dog is warranted only for the purpose of being a companion animal. Although this puppy was bred specifically for show, no warranty is given to the buyer for any special purpose or function of this dog. This dog is not to be used for any illegal or immoral activities and is not to be used for any type of puppy mill, dog farm or money making operation.
In the event that the buyer is unable to keep this dog for any reason, the Buyer agrees to offer to the Seller the first chance to buy this dog back at or below the original purchase price. In the event of a re-sale the buyer must notify the Seller with the new name and address of the new buyer. The Buyer agrees not to sell this Bulldog or its offspring to any broker, retail company or establishment. Any changes in this contract must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
Both parties agree that this agreement is legal and if legal proceedings are required to settle any disputes between the parties then the case will be filed in Putnam County, Florida and decided upon by a judge or magistrate.
This is the entire agreement between the parties and all parties have read, understand and agreed to this contract in full by signing below.
